Hi ,

You need to buy an Upgrade for Acrobat DC as that is the only upgrade Adobe sells now.
What Acrobat version do you use now?

If you are referring to updating Acrobat ,then that is a totally different process compared to upgrading.

To update,launch Acrobat>Help>Check For Updates and install the update and you are good to go.

You would need to restart your machine once the software is updated.
