Hi, I own a licence of X Pro and also an XI Standard that I bought with my Dell machine.

I would like to get an XI pro and please can you advise how to go about it.

Also, if I stick with what I've got can X Pro and XI Standard coexist on the same machine, and can XI read X docs?

Many thanks.

Hi davidh38818634,

You can install both the version on the same computer but its usually not recommended.

If both are installed on the same machine there would be conflict issues. So its not recomended to install both acrobat versions on the same machine.

You can install acrobat XI from this link : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

Let us know if you need any further help.

Many thanks.

Can I install XI Pro with my X Pro licence number? If not, how do I upgrade and is it cheaper to upgrade from X Pro to XI Pro or from XI Standard to XI Pro?

Hi David,

Acrobat XI Pro is no longer offered so upgrade from X Pro to XI Pro is not possible now.

You can however, upgrade to Acrobat DC Pro.
