User Entry hyperlink in a form field

I am creating a form that i need to allow users to create a hyperlink to either a project server or a network drive and I am unsure of how to accomplish this.

I have tried to format the field as rich text and when I try to paste the link into the field my Acrobat crashes.

Any suggestions?
