Usering Adobe Reader in a web application

I have been tasked to find a replacement for our current web based PDF document viewer, markup manager.

Our need to be able to view PDFs.

Load a PDF and add a markup and save the markup. User will then be able to reload the PDF and markup and make edits.

This can be done until the document is released.

Requirement is that we control the menu ( example add save button)

Using javascript to sent the markup to a webservice to save the markup our document management system.

Currently using AutoVue . Would like to see if we can user Adobe Reader instead.
