I have several jpg files which I will be converting into pdf files. Can I then make these pdf files searchable?  If so, how do I go about doing this? I use Acrobat XI Pro.  The majority of the information within the files is text.

Thank you,

Denise

Yes, you can do this.

Go to Tools> Text recognition> In this file. You can set OCR setting(OCR language and OCR output style) as per your requirement and run OCR now.

Hope it will resolve your issue.

Thanks.

If you want to recognize text in multiple files at the same time please use following steps

Tools> Text Recognition> In multiple files

Click add files

Select add files or add folders

Select the files you want to run OCR

Specify settings and ok

It will run OCR on multiple files at the same time. Please reply if this solution worked for you.

Thanks.

I appreciate both answers, Garg.

I haven't tried this yet, but, in theory, it sounds like it should work.

Thank you very much for answering both times.
