Using Redaction and all document content is disappearing except for the redacted blocks - help

I just got Adobe Creative Cloud for my new Mackbook Pro.  I used the redaction tool last week and it worked perfectly.  Today, I tried to use it again and, everything looks fine until I apply the redactions.  At that point, the entire content of the document disappears other than the blacked out portions that I wanted to redact.  Help!
