VECTORWORKS PUBLISHING PROBLEM

I'm "publishing" a CAD Document to Acrobat using Vectorworks 2016. My problem is the crop boxes in the viewports I use are not visible in the screen preview and when I print on large format the borders of the crop boxes are printed as very fine lines. It's causing overlap and confusion in my drawings. When I print directly from the CAD file to the same printer I don't get the outlines of the crop boxes, so I've narrowed it down to an Adobe problem, but printing this way I can only print one sheet at a time - not good. Anyone else had this type of problem?
