It is not exactly a perpetual subscription, as Adobe use the term.

An Adobe subscription gives you the right to use the software today, until you stop paying (then you cannot use the software). It also gives you updates which improve the software, which give new versions, and keep the software compatible with new systems, apps and hardware.

A perpetual license gives you the right to run the software you get today and forever. But it doesn't give you updates or new versions or new features. In time, your "perpetual" software won't run any more if you upgrade other things.

In the case of Acrobat Pro the subscription also gives access to other subscription services, like send for signature, not available to perpetual license. And the perpetual software is already behind: the perpetual license doesn't have the "tabs" feature.

Hi ,

Perpetual here means ,you would be charged  annually and that would be renewed accordingly.

Also you get a serial number to license your software if you go for perpetual license.
