When I print to a PDF from a PDF it generates .log file with error.

I have an Adobe Acrobat form (using version 9) that I use daily.  After it is filled out, I print it to Adobe so the form fields cannot be edited.  Every time I do this it generates a .log file with the following error:

%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%

%%[ Error: typecheck; OffendingCommand: cshow ]%%

Stack:

-file-

{--pop-- --pop-- ct_str1 --exch-- 0 --exch-- --put-- ct_str1 --show--

{_ct_na _ct_i --get--} --stopped-- {--pop-- --pop--} {_ct_x _ct_y

--moveto-- 0 --rmoveto--} --ifelse-- /_ct_i _ct_i 1 --add-- --def--

--currentpoint-- /_ct_y --exch-- --def-- /_ct_x --exch-- --def--}

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%

%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

Any suggestions for a fix?

After it is filled out, I print it to Adobe so the form fields cannot be edited.

That's your first mistake. Re-frying a PDF file (ie, sending an existing PDF file to the Adobe PDF printer) should be avoided, if at all possible. Instead you can simply flatten the file (using this tool, for example: UVSAR : Selective Flattener tool for Adobe Acrobat 8, 9 and X ) or digitally sign it, to lock the values of the fields.
