Hi maggieb31608911,

Please let me know the file extension of the eBook?

Is it a .pdf file or with some other file extension?

Regards,
Aadesh

ePub is a file type used by many eReader devices like Nook or Kobo. Acrobat/Reader cannot reed this file type.

Adobe distributes for free an end user program called Digital Editions for use on computers Adobe also provides for distributors of ePubs a server product that provides security over the distribution of ePubs. Many reader devices use the Digital Editions server to provide control over the distribution of ePubs and your digital Reader device may require to register using an Adobe ID which is also a free service of Adobe.

Adobe also provides for manufacturers of digital reader programs for decoding the digital content.
