Same question. I updated my subscription from Adobe Export to Adobe Pro and upgraded the subscription. When I tried to install, it cam up with the error in a box - Host-ElevationFail. I am using Windows 7 PC.

How do I overcome the error message and intall?

Hi marks93562350,

As you get the error message Host-elevationFail, please make sure that you have administrator rights to install the application.

Try right clicking on the install file and select "Run as administrator".

Install the application from here: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

If that does not work, try to run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart your system and then install the application.

What software does this involve?  What is the complete error message that you see?  What are your system specifications?
