This is happening when viewing a pdf created in InDesign, and viewed in Acrobat DC (Reader).

It does NOT happen when viewing in Acrobat Pro DC.

Why is this happening in the Reader, and how can I turn it off?

Thanks for any guidance.

Try this: Go to Edit - Preferences - Page Display and un-tick "Show
