Why is Acrobat X Pro not sharp on my Dell XPS 15?

The Adobe windows and PDFs are now out of focus on this fantastic laptop screen...even the header for this discussion is out of focus. It is usable but very disappointing to have these images be so un-sharp when Adobe is so image-oriented. What can be done to ameliorate this problem?
