Why is my email connected to my digital signature?

Under "Creating Digital IDs" it mentions that one of the fields is the email address and it is likely you entered one of your email addresses in this field. Hence anytime you use the particular digital signature the email you entered becomes associated with it.

You can edit the digital signature to use another email address if you like, however the easy solution is to create multiple digital signatures and associating one email address for one type of digital signature (professional, personal, etc.).
