Windows 10 problem with Acrobat X Pro

I tried to load my adobe acrobat x pro program on my new computer that is running windows 10.  I could not load it but was able to download the trial program.  The programs works fine but Windows 10 does not recognise the serial number.  I continually get pop ups stating the serial number is invalid. Does anyone know how to fix this. I do not want to buy DC.

An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10... works for some, not for others

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)
