Windows 10 shuts down Adobe Acrobat DC when setting up Comments for Shared & Email Review

I am trying to send out a pdf document for a shared review to several email recipients on our server.  It has worked fine in the past, but now Windows 10 shuts down the program and cannot complete the review process.  Acrobat DC allows you to follow all of the steps for a shared review but does not complete the process.  I received a message:  "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working.  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."  This may be in connection with a recent Windows update as it used to work with Windows 10.  I tried it on 2 different computers and 2 different versions of Acrobat (DC and Standard).  Any help would be appreciated as I need to use this tool.  Thanks.

Hi bethb60749551,

Open Acrobat DC, navigate to Help menu & repair the installation. Also make sure Acrobat DC is updated to the latest version Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader.

Now try to initiate Shared review Starting a PDF review, Adobe Acrobat.

Regards,
Aadesh

Hi Aadesh2789 - I followed the above instructions, and tried to initiate a shared review for comments after I repaired the installation and updated (no updates were available), but I received the same message:  "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working.  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The program stopped and the shared review did not complete.

I was able to complete a shared review for comments last night on a Windows 7 computer with Acrobat DC.  Windows 10 does not work but it used to before that last few rounds of Windows update.
