Word embedded flash files missing after saving as PDF
I have Word 2016 installed as part of my Microsoft Office 365 subscription. In addition to the "Home" "Insert' "Draw" and other tabs, on the far right there is now an "ACROBAT" tab which appears to be an extension added automatically by Adobe. And under the ACROBAT tab there is an option to "Embed Flash File."
We have a Word document that has multiple embedded audio files. If we use the ACROBAT extension "Embed Flash File" option, we can embed an audio file and it plays perfectly while in Word. However, when the Word file is saved as a PDF file, it appears the embedded Flash file is not included in the PDF file.
Since the "Embed Flash File" option is provided as part of an Adobe extension to Word, it seems that our Flash audio should be retained when saving the document in PDF format. Are we doing something wrong? Is there a way to have the embedded Flash audio be retained when saving the file in PDF format? Or does this just not work properly?
