XML Data Not Populating in Adobe Pro 10

I have created a form in LiveCycle and saved it as a dynamic PDF. When I try to import the xml data in adobe, it appears to import the information. However, when I go to test the form the fields don't populate. I'm using Adobe Pro X and use tools/forms/more form options/manage form data/import data. I then select the xml file and click open.Is there a setting in adobe that might be incorrect or something? Or am I missing a step?

The form enables employees to enter their employee id number and then the data is pulled to populate the employee name, job title, department, date of hire, etc.
