Hello Team,

Has anybody created a gradient and saved it to Adobe Creative Library and tried to use it in Adobe Photoshop? I keep getting this error - Photoshop could not complete your request because of a program error. I tried contacting support and they told me that maybe I should roll back Photoshop and try again? or wait for an update? Any Ideas??

Thank You,

Phillip

    Hello Philip,

I have been having trouble with this as well.  I found if I right-clicked on the gradient in the library and selected "Get Info" it will open a larger view and you can examine the composition of the gradien, but more importantly, go to the 3 dots above and from there you can "Create Gradient Preset", save it to your regular presets.  I do a lot of color mapping and it seems to work OK after that.  Good luck!

    Hey @Phillip James Gordon

Gradients can be created in Photoshop and the other apps.
Create a colour swatch in Adobe Colour. Save the swatch to a library folder. Open the folder and create the gradient.

Thank you. I am aware of creating Gradients from within Photoshop. I was experimenting with Adobe Color where you can through the Extract Gradient from a image, where you can then save it to your library and use it in Photoshop and other apps, unfortunately, I have the error - Photoshop could not complete your request because of a program error.??? when trying to apply it.
