Question

Color matching chart

Is there any template from Adobe that lets me make and print out a full color chart with chips, and RGB or HSB codes underneath. Need to make one so that I can print it and use as a guide for matching future colors. Many fabric design softwares have this, but I don't have access to those and I feel like Adobe should.

In my experience with other softwares, you can pick a hue (which would be the whole page), then input how many denominations/chips you want across the page (lightest-darkest), and how many denominations down the page (brightest-dullest).

Would be really nice if I didn't have to make 1000's of color chips manually.

Hi! Still no. I ended up finding/printing out an old one. I'm not sure why they can't set it up so we can create color charts. Mine has saved me thousands of hours.

Thank you for the suggestion. we will check on it. It will also be helpful if you can share a sample image of how you are thinking of it, so that we can see the use case.

    Hi!

See attached for pictures. This is an example of RGB. In other fabric design programs (which i don’t have access to anymore), I've been able to choose either RGB, HSL, or any other format.
For HSL, I’ve been able to choose the denominations in each level (hue, saturation, brightness).
    For example:
Hue: is based on how many pages I want to print. (More pages=more divisions along the color spectrum= Wider array of colors.
Saturation: goes left/right on each page, so I would be able to choose how many divisions/squares.
Lightness: Top/bottom on each page, same choice as saturation.

ALL this is basically so I can print all of the pages, and then choose colors for other things that I print. I am a fabric print designer, so having these is great and keeps me from having to guess colors from my monitor, print, reprint 1000 times until the right shade is found.

Thank you so much for your help!!!!
