Color website doesn't work on a portrait monitor

For the best experience, please rotate your device to Portrait orientation.

https://color.adobe.com/mythemes#

The color webspage displays the above message and refuses to display on a portrait orientated monitor. Even when the browser window is in landscape website refuses display.

Why would a website insist a landscape monitor?

Why does Adobe check hardware for a website?

What is the logic behind this?

Why is even the error message wrong? Forget the best experince, how about an experience?

We have just rolled out an update and now you should be able to see color website in landscape mode (on your monitor). can you please give it a try now.

    Hello Sarumbear:

You should only be seeing that notice if you are visiting on a mobile device or tablet, as currently we are working to finalize the UI for landscape mobile orientation. This should be ironed out shortly, there were just a few outstanding bugs when we released the mobile version of the new website.

If you are seeing this on desktop this is definitely not the correct experience. Can you share your browser information with me so I can share that with the engineering team? Thank you!

As I said in my post "Even when the browser window is in landscape" I am on a desktop computer. A Dell XPS15 laptop with two portrait monitors attached to it via HDMI and DP. Browser info is below:

Google Chrome is up to date
    Version 84.0.4147.125 (Official Build) (64-bit)

You should also revise the message: "For the best experience..." when there is no experience is an insult to your customers.

However, I appreciate the super fast response. Thank you.
