Does anyone know why I'm getting this error message when I try to use the gradients from my library in Photoshop? These gradients were created using the replicate gradient tool on the Color.Adobe.com website?
I have tried all the troubleshooting tips:
- update to newest version of Photoshop
- roll back to a previous version
- uninstall and re-install photoshop
- checked to make sure I had the latest OS (I do - MacOS 15 Sequoia)
- close everything and restart computer
- reset and restore to default preferences/settings
- log out of iCloud account after un-syncing then re-syncing
- contacted Adobe support who used Adobe client on my computer to see the problem for themselves
- delete gradients from library and then create new ones.
- Asked a friend to see if they get the same error message on their computer. They did and even followed the same troubleshooting methods as me and checked that their system was up to date. They have a windows pc, I have an Mac.
- Only the gradients in my library receives this error message. PNG images saved in my library do not. Neither do any of the other library resources. Same goes for my friend.
- also preformed the troubleshooting suggestion on the Adobe webpage after clicking the "Learn how to fix" option from the error message including granting Photoshop full disc access, checking all drivers are up to date including re-installing graphics driver, disabled generator, turned off GPU acceleration, installed and ran the diagnostic plugin and gave findings to Adobe tech advisor, etc.
Has this feature ever worked? Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyone have any solutions?
