💌 12 Days of Creativity Day 6: Send a Vintage Postcard

🎁 Welcome to Day 6 of the 12 Days of Creativity!

Today’s activity invites students to express their creativity and demonstrate their learning using the Vintage Postcard guided activity. This activity is fast, flexible, and perfect for incorporating into any subject area.

How to Complete the Vintage Postcard Guided Activity in Adobe Express

1. Open the “Send a Vintage Postcard” Guided Activity in Adobe Express. (CLICK HERE FOR LINK)
2. Customize the “orange” text to your chosen destination. (Ex: Change “Hawaii” to “Cincinnati” 😉)
3. Then, update the “yellow” layer directly underneath it with the exact same word to create the shadow effect!
4. Use the Replace feature to swap out the middle layer with a photo, graphic, or AI-generated image that represents your location.
5. Make it your own by customizing the color theme, adding fun elements, and writing a catchy tagline or short message.

🗺️️ Social Studies: Research your Hometown's history, then craft a descriptive paragraph or catchy tagline that captures the essence of the location.

📚 ELA: Write a short postcard message from one character to another in a novel, showing their current setting and relationship. 

🏘️️ History: Do a "Then and Now" postcard by using historical photos to show a landscape change over time.

🧮 Math: Create a "Vacation Budget" postcard that calculates the total cost of travel

🐸 Science: Create a card from a specific habitat (Rainforest Vibe, Savanna Views) and highlight local flora or fauna.

Sharing Ideas

💌 Print postcards and create a physical "Post Office" display.

🖼️️ Turn them into a digital slideshow or gallery walk.
