Generate Activity on Adobe Express is a LIFE SAVER!

As an educator and long-time Adobe user, being a part of the product feedback process has been an invaluable experience! It has been amazing to have a hand in receiving the resources I need to support students with emerging educational technology as I incorporate Adobe Express and other professional products into the classroom on a daily basis. Through this collaborative partnership, my students have even had the opportunity to sit down with the Adobe team and speak freely about their experience with Adobe Express, showing them that their opinions also matter – how powerful is that?! With thoughtful features like Generate Activity, I have been able to quickly assign creative exercises that support our students’ learning and still provide freedom for artistic interpretation. Now that this new feature is live, educators across the globe are finally able to generate a quick and relevant activity for their class that challenges students through creativity! By completing these activities, students also get to demonstrate the way they prefer to uniquely approach the task in comparison to their peers, thus leading to a larger conversation about style, perspective and the variety of methods each student uses to complete the activity in their own way. One of my favorite activities is the “Advertise Your Invention” assignment that was created for my Graphic Design & Production students. This activity allowed students to bring their World-changing ideas of product innovation to life, with the help of the Adobe Express tools! We also use this approach to brainstorm, mood board, and conceptualize for larger class projects. I have learned that there is a special moment of dream accessibility that is realized when a person sees a visual sample of their idea.
