Pick one or two a week to set as your intention for inspiring creativity in your craft:

Mindset/Mentality

  • What brought me joy in learning this week and how can I model that joy for my students?

  • In what ways do I create moments of surprise, laughter, or curiosity in my classroom?

  • How do I invite students to express themselves authentically?

  • What small creative risk did I take or encourage students to take this week?

  • How am I giving myself grace to experiment and grow alongside my learners?

Creative Practice

  • Where could I make room for student voice and choice in learning?

  • In what ways can I integrate a creative medium (visuals, storytelling, design, sound, movement) to deepen understanding?

  • What project or activity made me and my students feel most alive this week and why?

  • How can I reimagine a routine task or lesson through a creative lens next week?

  • Am I designing for compliance or for connection?

Connection & Belonging

  • How do I help students feel seen, heard, and valued as creators? What do I want to keep doing intentionally?

  • What moments this week reflected joy in our community big or small?

  • How am I nurturing a classroom environment where mistakes are part of creative growth?

  • Am I celebrating student effort, not just outcomes? What does that celebration mean to my students and how will I know?

Purpose & Reflection

  • How does creativity help my students understand something more deeply?

  • What energized me most this week AND  what drained me?

  • How can I turn that awareness into next week’s intention?

  • In one word, how would I describe the energy of my classroom this week?
