Question

can I restrict my users to use only the templates I provide in my app?

Hi, I m building a web app that will use Adobe Express SDK.  We want our users to be able to edit our templates and only our templates, not other ones provided by Adobe.  Is this possible?  It s not clear in the forums or at least I havent found anything on the subject.

Also, is there an SDK documentation in Spanish?

Many thanks

Hi Roberto,

Hope you are well. Unfortunately, this capability is not available in Embed SDK, as of today. We only support Adobe templates within Adobe Express. That said, developers can pass in search strings to pre-filter the templates within SDK to ensure that users see the most relevant set of templates when the iframe opens. However, we do recognize the need to support developer-specific templates. We are evaluating this request for 2024.

Please let us know if I can help in any way in the interim.

Thank you once again for your interest in the Embed SDK.

Hello Siddharth, I'm interested in the exact same functionality as posted above.  I'm developing a web app that will use Adobe Express SDK, and I want users to be able to edit my templates and only my templates, not other ones provided by Adobe.  Is this possible as of July 2025?

Also, can my users save their edited version of any given template without modifying the actual template?

I appreciate your reply

Yes, modified templates will be stored as projects in the Creative cloud storage of the user. You can enable users to re-edit the projects by passing in the project id of the project during the invocation of the SDK. Happy to answer any further questions.
