Hello ,

We want to leverage Adobe firefly AI feature in our application and as per adobe doc adobe firefly API isn't available yet though it has been integrated with Adobe express & Adobe photoshop.

Hence we are thinking to use the Adobe express SDK plugin in our application and the expectation is once its  up and running we should be able to leverage the Adobe firefly AI feature.

https://developer.adobe.com/express/embed-sdk/docs/guides/

I have two question
a. It seems the API key is disabled by default and it needs to be enabled ,i have sent an email to <email address removed by moderator> as suggested in the doc for activation. <email address removed by moderator> could you please help me in enabling it.

Once the adobe express sdk is integrated to my application, will i be able to leverage adobe firefly feature as i don't see any API or methods exposed to invoke the firefly in the adobe express plugin.

Feel free to provide your view or better approach to leverage adobe firefly feature in a simple JS based application.

  • @Amanda31731738y1g3 How can I got about getting an api key as well? I recently purchased adobe cc and adobe substance 3d, so I think I should be eligible for it.

Hello @Jayce340590922h6l - Please follow the steps in the guide here to get a key: https://developer.adobe.com/express/embed-sdk/docs/guides/quickstart/
Once you're done, send @amanda_h your key (steps are all on the guide) to get your key enabled. Thanks

Hi @aditya singh32939608ij6y --

I've enabled your API key for development. Please review the email I just sent about how you can leverage the embedded editor to use Adobe Firefly's text-to-image capabilities.

Thank you so much @Amanda31731738y1g3 .It seems the  previous token wasn't mapped with correct domain ,i have created a new token and mapped it to my localhost:8000 domain and shared it to you via email ,could you please activate it now.

One more question, can we just edit the domain of existing token or does it need to share it to you again for activation,

I am getting below error while loading the adobe  express editor model

You can add/remove domains from your project credentials instead of creating a new project. Instead, I'd recommend adding `localhost:8000` to your existing project in Adobe Developer Console.

Navigate to your project > from the left panel select "API Key". Now click "Edit credential" in the upper right corner. A new screen pops up and you can modify your registered domains as needed, without any additional enablement from my end. Hope this helps.

(Please use the steps I detailed instead of waiting on the new key to be enabled.)
