Usage of parentElementId param of modalParams of createDesign method

I gave a div an ID and passed that onto createDesign method via modalParams. But the modal is still getting appended to document.body.

Does anyone have any idea how to make it work?

Hi @Vishesh Jyani - can you share a screenshot of how you're calling it? this behavior should be supported, so I want to better understand what may be causing the issue.

Hi @amandahuang , thanks for reaching out. 
Yes, it works as expected. Turns out I was using ID of an JSX component which was not actually rendering any element.
