Hello Dante, thanks for reaching out and I remember you from our kick off event. I am myself not expert with the InDesign Templates and Server, but I can speak about the general use cases of the Embed SDK.

The embed SDK as it exists today, is a component that is meant to be embeded within your own website and in your own web domain. It is important that you can control that web domain as you will need to register it in the integration configuration.

Given the above, it allows the users of your website to take advantage of Adobe Express to perform specific tasks for assets, such as removing backgrounds, etc. So it works as input - transform - output for assets in your web domain.

You can certainly build your own workflows in which you integrate to different systems from your own website. Imagine that you integrate to System A to extract images, then with the Embed SDK your users can remove background of that image, then use system C with the altered image.

Notice that the Embed SDK is not an automation tool, but instead your users need to interact with it.
