Activate fonts not appearing in Indesign

Hi there-

 

I've activated a few fonts from Adobe. They are showing up in all my other programs, but InDesign refuses to sync them. I've tried everything: closing the program and signing out of the creative cloud and shutting down my laptop, uninstalling InDesign then re-installing, deactivating then activating said fonts, etc. Nothing is working. What is going on?

    Hi together,

    could have been a bug with InDesign version 17.2.0 or 17.1.0.

    Should be fixed now with an update to version 17.2.1.

    If you still see the issue after an update to 17.2.1 trash your InDesign cache and preferences when InDesign is not running and restart the machine. To find the appropriate Version 17.0 folders see:

    I have been having the same issue. It is only for 1 adobe font family, the others are working fine. JUst like your issue they show up in Adobe Illustrator but not Indesign.

    To fix this I had to clear the cache by renaming the In Design local file. It was silly but fixed it immediately.
