Activated font will not show in apps

Question

In Creative Cloud I have activated Goldenbook font. It will not show in InDesign or Illustrator as an option. I have deactivated and reactivated multiple times. In Illustrator, I even went to "Find More" in the the fonts list to instantly activate it. I hit the activate icon and it just says "Activating..." and never really does. What am I missing here??

Hi @default0yp8uqwdcy0m, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble activating Goldenbook. I tested it just now, and it's working for me so far (Windows 10, Illustrator 27.1.1 Release).

What is your platform? Try this: sign out of Adobe everywhere and fully quit Creative Cloud desktop. Close all Adobe apps that are running. Restart your computer. Log back into Creative Cloud desktop and see if the font is listed under Active fonts. Make sure file syncing is showing up to date. Launch Illustrator to see if Goldenbook shows up. Please let us know if any of that helps.
