Acumin Variable Concept: Height changes when width is adjusted

When I make letters wider using the variable font sliders they also become noticably higher. Of course this is not the intended behaviour. Is there any way to remedy this?

Software used is Illustrator 24.1.2, font was downloaded / synced today.

    Hi Harshika,

    thanks for your quick reply. As this is the only variable font that does this, I doubt that the behaviour is intended. (And if it is, I hate the feature 🙂) It'd be great if you could pass this on to the designers.
