Adding fonts to Illustrator Web

Hello, I'm looking to add the font Inter for use in the Illustrator Web app. However, when I upload the font file, it fails validation due to: "Font is available in Adobe Fonts Library"

I see that Inter in is my "Added Fonts" section of the Creative Cloud app. However, it shows it's unable to install the font and it's not showing the "in Adobe Apps" text.

Any idea how to resolve this? I've aleady tried to remove the font family and readd. Thanks!

Did you add Inter Variable and/or Inter Tight Variable at the Adobe Fonts web site? Those appear to be the only versions of Inter available via Adobe Fonts. If the added fonts are refusing to install for all apps you might try removing them and then adding them again. If your computer has copies of Inter or Inter Tight that were downloaded Google Fonts installed it might be worth trying to uninstall them and then adding/installing the versions from Adobe Fonts.

If you're using the web version of Adobe Illustrator the app should be able to see any fonts added to your CC account via the Adobe Fonts web site. Extra steps, such as uploading copies of fonts to the app, or installing added Adobe Fonts for use by all apps should not be necessary. The fonts should already be present in the fonts list.
