Adelle Sans updated in Adobe Fonts

Another big mess from Adobe Fonts.

We used Adobe Sans in several school books and yesterday we detected that the name of the font in some weights have changed, ex: Adele Sans SemiBold to Adelle Sans Semibold.

But the bigger problem is that the kerning has also changed, causing the text to reflow.

in the image below, in black is the old font and in cian is the new font.

We realized this because the font name changed.

If it hasn't changed we could we could only notice when the book was printed in the printing shop, leading to massive production costs if we have to reprint it again.

Fonts in Adobe fonts cannot be upgraded as they are now.

If the kerning or characters are changed, a new font (with different name) should be created.

You are using Adelle Sans, correct? You say Adobe Sans, which exists as Adobe Sans MM, but should never be used in designs.
