adobe fonts activation not working

when i select a font on adobe fonts and activate it, it shows on my creative cloud that it is active and also shows on different programs such as photoshop and indesign that it is active. But once i select it and start typing, it does not recognize it and shows black rectangles. For example, I would select font Adobe Arabic, but once i select it, it does not show the font when i type. how can i fix this?

    Hi there,

     

    Thank you for reaching out and using Adobe Fonts. I would like to know in which Adobe application the font is not working. Have you tried to decativate and reactivate the fonts?
