Adobe Pi Std release date

Probably not the right place, but maybe someone knows?

I'm researching symbol fonts and trying to find the date that Adobe Pi Std was published.

Unlike with many other 'Adobe Originals' fonts, I cannot find the date that Adobe Pi Std was first released, or any other design information.

If anyone knows, it would be appreciated? Thanks!

There aren't meta data availabe in the font file? Very often they contain a copyright date! You can google for a PDF document from around 2002, talking about Wintows NT, 2000 and XP. That may be used for approximate dates. https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/cc/us/en/products/type/Pi%20Font%20Info.pdf

    Thank you Abambo!

This is really helpful, I'd found this page on Pi fonts, but not known it could be dated.

    Thanks for your reply

If you have access to the font file, try https://opentype.js.org/font-inspector.html.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Fonts forum.
