Adobe Tech Support Nightmare - could anyone help here instead?

I have been on the Adobe.com technical support chat for nearly 6 hours today, and I am exhausted and absolutely appalled by their unhelpful attitude. Could anyone here help instead please?

I use Adobe Garamond Pro on a live website and a couple of weeks ago any copy in that font has turned into a basic sans serif font and looks wrong.  I haven't changed anything on the website, it has just suddenly changed and I do not know why or what I can do about it.  Adobe.com technical support said Garamond Pro doesn't exist, which is obviously incorrect.   Adobe.com technical support also said nobody in Adobe technical support knew anything about fonts.  I have not been able to get a straight answer on anything, or any help whatsoever from any of the many agents I dealt with today.

Could any community members do a better job than Adobe please?  Thanks.
