Bug on Roboto fonts

Hi Team,

 

We have notice small bug in Adobe with Roboto font family, whenever the sequence ‘fi’ is typed the dot on ‘i’ is disappears (screenshot below), We have check with multiple users and most of users has same issue, Could you please let us know what is the solution for this, Thanks

@Abhijit31927392hjiw, thanks for pointing this out. It's because “Ligatures” are checked in the Character properties panel or format options. If you uncheck it, the dot over the i returns. Hope that's helpful!

It's a somewhat common feature for ligatures like "fi" and "ffi" to consume the dot of the lowercase "i". It just depends on the typeface. The "fi" and "ffi" ligatures in Myriad and Minion do that. Minion also eats the dot in its "fj" and ffj" ligatures.
