I am on a iPad. I try to install a font from creative cloud. I get the message: "we couldn't install font."

@graniteface39, In case you are still struggling with this issue, there is not a way to install fonts from Adobe Creative Cloud. You can only activate the fonts for use in your application. What Adobe program are you using? Is the font active when you are logged in with your Adobe ID here fonts.adobe.com? Go to Manage fonts to see if the font is listed under the Active Fonts tab. Sometimes toggling off and on the font helps, too. Let us know what's going on!
