Hi there, I'm a bit confused about using adobe fonts for commerical e-pub. If the fonts ever get removed from the library would my client then have to start paying a yearly fee for an e-pub licence for any documents they are currently selling? Any help is greatly appriciated.

Kind Regards

    Hi

    @MetalBankai

    ,

    Welcome to the community! EPUB files typically embed fonts, meaning the fonts are stored within the file itself. This ensures that readers see the document as designed, even if the fonts aren't installed on their devices.

    While we try not to remove fonts, even if they are removed from the source system, the embedded fonts will remain in the EPUB.

    However, if the file ever needs to be updated and the fonts are no longer available, you would need to find an alternative solution, such as licensing the font again or selecting a replacement font.

    For more details on font licensing, you can refer to Adobe's guide here: Adobe Font Licensing Guide.

    Regards,
