Question

Explain the Adobe Font Paywall to me... someone.

Can someone explain this logic to me.

  1. Photography Plan - Includes Adobe Fonts
  2. Adobe Fonts - Includes ALL Fonts
  3. But when looking for some fonts… I need to “Subscribe to Creative Cloud”

Some fonts are behind a CC upgrade paywall.

Did you try signing out and then back in?

Yup, did all that. Apparently it is true.. not all the fonts are available on the Photoshop plan… you have to upgrade to CC to get a bigger selection.

According to this page : https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/web/introduction/system-subscription-requirements.html  you should be able to access the font. Are you signed in to the CC desktop app when you try and download the font?

Yes.. I am logged in. I had Adobe technical support log into my mac. They said not all fonts are included and I was given an option to pay €1038 per year for the privilege of CC pro.
