FF Nort font issue

I recently noticed a weird font issue on my website using this font that "The Northeast" doesn't show correctly.  I tried it out on Adobe's sample text and was also seeing the error, screenshot below:

This seems to happen when The North is typed by itself or part of a longer text like The Northwest.  When I try just The Nort or The northeast the font is fine.
