font activation NEVER works

Question

everytime I open a document indd/psd/ai which offers to auto activate fonts, it ALWAYS crashes. Does this feature actually work for anyone??? Any ideas why my apps crash? I'm using an M1 max MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.4.1. Creative cloud is up to date. This problem has existed for nearly 2 years through various versions of apps and OS software. It just NEVER works.

We are sorry for your difficulties. Please let us know if you have tried reinstalling the applications; if yes, try to sign out and back in to your account. You could also try activating the fonts through fonts.adobe.com and let us know if this helps.
