Font automatically changes to italics in PowerPoint

Hello, I am trying to use Arboria in PowerPoint. The font is embedded in Powerpoint, but after saving the document and reopening some of the text changes to italic. I am using a Mac and PowerPoint for Mac Version 16.62. Please let me know if you have a solution or can recomend an article for best proctices. THANK YOU!

I would like to inform you that Microsoft products have more simple style linking features for fonts than Adobe products. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer much help for products made by third parties. Please let us know if you're having the same problem with the  Creative Cloud, and we'll try to help you out.
