font favorites not synced between different apps

Hello,

I have all of my "favorite" fonts starred in illustrator cc, but they are not favorited in any of the other programs like photoshop and indesign. Is there a setting where I can sync those so that regardless of the app Im in, if i star/ unstar a font it updates acrosse all programs? Using both adobe fonts and fonts purchased from other sites that dont show up in my adobe account...

        Hi Nancy,

        Thanks for the reply. My issue isnt really with font activation, but more so with the "Starred" favorites in each program. I've attached screenshots of what I'm trying to figure out.

        Basically I have Starred my favorites in Illustrator, but in my other programs I have to re-Star them again (which I have a big list of purchased fonts and its a pain in the butt to re add favorites in all of the programs).
