Font names different in all Microsoft Office Products

Howdy, I am having a problem with my synced adobe fonts. In my creative cloud applications I'm not having any issues, but in Microsoft Office products all my fonts register with different names. So for example, Nimbus Sans Condensed Black ends up getting named nimbussanconlbla in powerpoint or word. I've tried de-syncing and re syncing the fonts individually, toggling the sync setting in the preferences dialog in the CC desktop application, and even completely reinstalling the entire CC suite.

Has anyone else experienced this before?
