Font not working

update from last post. I downloaded courier prime and restarted my computer. It is now an option in acrobat adobe but whenever I type with this font selected, all that shows up are DOTS.

      We are sorry for the delay in response. We would request you to please check the font permission, whether you've the embedding rights or not on this font https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/pdf-fonts.html

       

      Also, if you're using Acrobat, then go to Acrobat's Preferences from Edit> Prefernces > Page Dispay> choose local font, OK> restart the app
