Font situation is so bad

I am losing at least 30 minutes a month getting my fonts to work. Please stop making it so I cannot keep fonts unless I have Cloud open. Please just let people download fonts. It's started to add up. This is not even truly a bug. It seems to be the way adobe wants the app to work.

It's definitely frustrating if fonts do not work as expected.

Are these Adobe fonts that you are having an issue with?  If so, have you had a chance to go through the troubleshooting guide for adding fonts?  Definitely double-check item 8, network ports and firewall issues, in that list.

Creative Cloud Desktop is needed to install and activate Adobe fonts, but you should be able to quit that application afterward; however, Adobe fonts will not automatically install and activate when projects with missing Adobe fonts are opened if that app is not open and font syncing is not enabled.  

I forget how long we can go with Creative Cloud Desktop closed, but I think it's about every 30 days.

Hopefully, you can get this working as expected.  Our subscription includes simplified licensing for personal and commercial use of more than 30,000 fonts.

If you're having an issue with a non-Adobe font, be sure to reach out the publisher as to why the font may not be installing as expected.
