Fonts do not load when developing locally

I'm using two Adobe fonts on my live website and they load fine. However, they do not display when developing locally. According to what I'm finding, this is an old issue but you no longer need to add localhost to your website domains since you no longer specify your website domain in Adobe Fonts. How can I get these fonts to show locally? They are installed on my machine as well. I'm using macOS.

 

Also, is it best practice to wrap the font name in double quotes or no quotes at all? I have seen Adobe specify both ways.
