Fonts will not load

Having an incredibly frustrating issue where new fonts will not load at all in creative cloud. I went through a whole song and dance with customer support for an hour to get one new font to appear, only for it to disappear after the service chat ended.

 

Anyone know if there are any fixes beyond wait for the program to unscrew itself? Issues like this seriously make me want to leave this whole company behind for good.

Seconding this. 

Beginning yesterday, Adobe fonts that have been installed for several projects are disconecting. 
Auto-activation in Illustrator and InDesign times out without installing. 
Removing (in app or online) then re-adding also not working.

Recent OS update to Tahoe 26.2 but had been working fine Monday, and also seems to be happening to colleague on PC.

Not like any of us are working on deadlines or anything....

Having the same problem. Started today. Did everything recommended. Still not working. Luckily, the work I was doing today used Opentype typefaces I had purchased from MyFonts.com. This totally sucks. Still not working this evening.

Guess I know how my weekend is going to go. Instead of enjoying it will be troubleshooting this issue. Really stupid and frustrating.

I assume the customer support people had you try the basic troubleshooting steps, correct? That would include signing out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, rebooting the computer and signing back into the CC app again. Deleting the font data cache is another common step.

 

Does your computer have any other applications running that could interfere with Creative Cloud and the Adobe Fonts service? It's possible for an actively running VPN to disrupt things. Third party font management apps can potentially cause problems; I've seen the one bundled in with CorelDRAW cause trouble.
